Reggaeton - What do you think?

Reggaeton is getting strong day by day in southamerica and also around the world, even now you can find reggaeton versions of rap and hip hop tracks.

What do you think about this genre? have you played it before? whats the reception of the public? It would be good to know your opinion since most of you are from europe.

Can you supply some title/artists that play this style because I don't have a clou what you mean by Reagaeton.

I do know reggae (Viava Bob M) but I never heard from Reggaeton....

Sure, I thing one of the most popolar reggaeton song in europe at the moment is Daddy Yankee - Gasolina.

Reggaeton is a mix between Reggae and Hip-Hop, basically spanish tunes, but for example in US is taking radios by storm thats why US rappers have released some of their tracks with Reggaeton sound, it very popular in Spain as well at the moment.

As a DJ in a club where people love R&B, I can tell you Gasonlina is a very big hit! I think you might be right stating "Reggaeton is getting strong". Over the last years both R&B and Spanish flavoured music (Jennifer Lopez, Shakira) are gaining more and more popularity. So I think a fusion between the two wouldn't be a very stange development and could be a very succesful one too.
