I made over an hour mix but would like to spit it into tracks so I can put it on CD. I have a Mac and was wondering the bst program to do this.

I wouldnt like just to split into even track lengths i would like to place a marker or something

thanks in advance

Good question, I'm very interested in a piece of software that could do this easily!

Cutting each track in Audacity is days of work, does anyone know the solution for this?

je maakt gwn een .cue file! deze voer je in in nero, en hij zorgt ervoor dat al je tracks apart op het cd'tje komen maar toch als 1 aaneengesloten mix!

Met markers in audition is het ook goed te doen.
You can do this pretty good in adobe audition if you use markers.

Can you please reply in English, as the topicstarter is not Dutch?

Anyway, the answer program mentioned there is windows only, if I'm correct?

you can cut a mix file in nero just before burning. I do it when I burn my demo tapes to cd. just drag the mixfile to nero's audio burning window (or use add file) and click properties (right click) then there's a tab called something like 'indexes / split' or whatever. there you can place markers to where the different tracks should start. After you OK'd this don't forget to put the 'time between tracks' to 0 secs isntead of the standard (?) 2 secs time between tracks. then just click burn. maybe youll get an error saying you cant have 0 secs before the first track / after the last track or whatever, but just click ok and BURNbabyBURN :P

note: if you want multiple cd's burned later on, just save the project! dont forget, or you'll have to put the markers all over again. and that takes some time ...

I know there is an other program called Musicutter, to split files like you want to. I've once used it to split a mix into seperated files to put it on a cd.

You can simply google it! Winking my eye
