CDJ-400 Cue

   

Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to make a cue point when playing with cdj-400 in USB-mode (flash stick? external hdd)?

Yes, It makes an hidden folder on your usb called PIONEER, which holds the cue points.

CDJ-400 uses internal memory for Audio CD's (max 200)
USB/HDD memory for tracks on these media. (unlimited, unless your space runs out)

 How much "space" would one "cue" use on the "memory"?

a few bytes perhaps.... I don't think you need to worry...

There is an index file of 1 kb (it's smaller but the smallest file possible is 1kb)
Also there is a folder that stores the date per disc. But also these files are 1kb. The filesystem takes most space, not the amount of bytes stored for the memory points.

Conclusion : don't bother about it

Now we aer talking about cue's. Maybe make it possible to merge cue points on cdj-400's (via the usb-B/pc output) Maybe something for the next firmware update. (Yes, I know its possible to export them, but merge...)
