Forums War!!

   

Hi! Ive been reading a few dj forums regarding dj equipment these last days, and one thing I noticed that they all have in common, they are orientated to one specific brand, mostly the war is between denon forums and pioneer forums, where all of them (except this site) talks about how bad the others brands are, is just like a cult! I mean I like Pioneer but I'll never be blind to not appreciate when a X feature is good in a different brand.

What do you think? Are we THAT divided?

Allthough this site has lots of Pioneer info on it, we're not a Pioneer Only forum. We also do not allow flaming (with motivations)... and perhaps just because we like friendlyness, perhaps people here are not on a war path

Personal I don't think we're that devided, I love Pioneer, but I also have Technics Turntables and in the past I owned a Dateq mixer, just becasue it was the best product for me at that time.

 

We have a lot of Pioneer stuff thanks to Lead, and that's the main reason we atract pioneer loving members.
I don't think the DJ resource is a Pioneer-forum, like the denondjresource... (original name)
But that forum is real bad, when somebody mentions Pioneer everybody starts screaming it's crap and so...
It's like Feyenoor and Ajax over there

Look, everybody here knows that although I like pioneers fine as they are, I always admire Numark and Denon for showing Pioneer what they also could implement in their equipment

Truth is that Pioneer just is build on stability, while Numark is build on creativity and Denon is build on invinuity (spelling?)... All three great, but one will prize the one above the other.

Oh, well... It's also a matter of what kind of DJ you are. Scratchos are mostly Numark and Denon fans (moving platter), while beatmatchies like Pioneers better.

And I'm talking Numark CD-X, Denon S3000/S5000 vs CDJ-800/1000 of course, here.

In mixers, there's no doubt that Ecler and Dateq are as good as Pioneer or sometimes even better.

Don't think so. Of course there are a lot of pioneer fans here, you can't deny that. But i won't say that we are pioneer-only. Take a look on the forum, you see lots of members that recommand other brands as A&H, Ecler, Technics and so on...

Sounds like a nice poll to me!
