Pioneer announces HDJ-2000

The first HDJ-2000's are ecspected in december 2008 and will be sold for around 299,- euro incl. VAT

On some website I found a review that stated that the Pioneer HDJ-2000 is not made entirely out of metal (magnesium). Some friends came along and pushed me to make a statement about this.

Lead say: The HDJ-200- is a full metal pair of headphones and here is my statement :

Great headphone. The looks of the HDJ-1000 are better in my opinion, but if this headphone is as reliable and as strong (or stronger) then the HDJ-1000 I'm interested. 

I think the HDJ-1000 looks better because the HDJ-2000 has a new future-like-design, a tight design with less different materials and details. But when you see it for the 10th time then i think you can appreciate the design more than the HDJ-1000. It's also because of less details a more time-less design.
Like a new lamborghini you think in the beginning what the? But a month later it's you're favorite(I'm also car lover).

It's not so screaming design and that's why i think this is a Superb Design with Class.

I've ordered one!

It's too expensive for me at this moment. And why should I? I already have an Technics RPDH 1200. It still works fine. Maybe if it's broken, i consider to buy one of these.

But the looks are serious very nice. And realy want to try it:d

Then don't watch the video's, it's simple as that. You dont have to watch them, this is a free country. I'm sure you know just as much as him I have respect for the guy as he tries to help people. I can only see good sides of it to be honest.

I think the HDJ 2000 is looking better than my 1000. When my actual one break (It will take a long time) I know witch one I'm going to buy

those are ridiculous expansive

looks a bit much on the price end, better headphones on the market for much cheaper .. but thats just my opinion

I'm really happy with mine, the build quality is second to none and as soon as they are in your hands the price makes no difference, i've still got my HD 25's and i love them and to be honest the overall sound quality is a little better (in my humble opinion) but the hdj 2000's go louder and are so much more comfortable after long use..............

put it this way these are the first set of headphones that i've taken care of!!!!! and thats not down to how much they cost just how much i love them
