Will the CDJ800 play MP3's?

   

Thinking about picking one of these up, but can't find anything on whether or not it will play MP3 cd's ANy clues? Which 'digital turntables' will play MP3's?

NO, the CDJ-800 will not play MP3. Nor will there be any update to make it do so. (same goes for the CDJ-1000(mk2))

Pioneer doesn't support MP3 in their CDJs, Denon is able to do MP3, aswell as Technics (limited bitrate range though) and the Technics....

Why not buring them as audio to a disc. With 10-15 tracks per CD it's also good for finding tracks. (100 tracks on an mp3 cd is difficult to keep an eye on the tracks you've allready played)

I think a lot of people is waiting for a Med-High class equipment (800 or 1000) that supports mp3s.

Even though the 200 can do it, they are expecting the top-end models to do it as well.

Hoe zet je MP3 dan als audio op een cd? Dit is iets wat ik nog steeds niet goed begrijp. Moet je je MP3 bestanden eerst omzetten ofzo en dan op een cd-r branden? Hoe zit het nou precies? Wat moet e nou allemaal doen om te zorgen dat je een mp3 bestand van je computer uiteindelijk kan afspelen (in wat voor soort bestand dan ook) op bijvoorbeeld een cdj 1000mk2 of een cdj800...

Sorry but if i buy something at beatport, itunes store and dance-tunes; its always an mp3 file and my 800 play it without problems? But i burn just the tracks, no maps or everything else. Mayby thats why i don't have trouble?

Maak : Audio CD en sleep MP3, of WAV bestanden op de disc. Als je dan gaat branden wordt er automatisch een audio CD van gemaakt. (dit gaat voor 1000, 1000MK2 en 800)

Wil je een Cd met MP3's maken, dan maak je gewoon een CD-ROM en gooi je er (eventueel in mappen) MP3 bestanden op. Dit werkt alleen bij de CDJ-200, CDJ-800MK2 en CDJ-1000MK3
