Hi everyone - Im wondering if anyone here has a set of faders and an x-fader for sale or know a good source I can get them at a respectable price.

Reason is - I have been donated a DJM 500 that needs a lot of TLC - and I dont wanna throw it out or anything like that.

A resotration project and a mod project if all goes well. Found a website that does artowrk for the top of the dedck as well as changing the LEDS to a nice neon blue instead of the orange LEDs on the fader cues.

Anyone who can help - please advise.

Cheers

Stu

Have you tried contacting Pioneer ?

i have indeed - quoted £35 a fadet and £45 for the crossfader - hoping to locate the parts a lot cheaper then that.

found this site though that does it cheaper

The basic component is nearly identical I think.... But they are mounted on different PCBs. If you know your way around with a soldering welt you will manage to do so. But disassembling a DJM-500 is a lot of work.

Just hold on, I will grab the service doc if I have the one of the 500 to check...

if you contact a official pioneer dealer you can order the parts

partnumbers:

dcv-1005 for the line fader without pcb
dcv-1006 for the cross fader without pcb

I didn't have the Service doc here, needed to check at the office. But if those are the numbers, they are DIFFERENT than those of the DJM-600.

Just order a fader with PCB! They cost about the same amount of money and are much easier to use. Just plug and play again.

the djm-600 got the dcv 1010 linefader
the crossfader is the same as the Djm-500

@tairip: the price of 5 line faders without pcb is about 80€ now and the price for 5 faders with pcb is 180€
this is not the same amount of money.
