CDJ's will perform well when placed under a greater angle but the danger is when EJECTing the CD. Gravity can make it get stuck behind the dust protection. Then the disc might get scratched or get stuck.
I have heard a story about a cdj that stop working when it's was placed more than 30 degrees. so i never put my rmp 2 on a greater angle than 25 degrees. And i had a few problems with my rmp-2 when it was placed on a 40 degrees angle.
