I've seen traktor for about £299 GBP, but it says Education software or something.. infact I've seen alot of softwares that are educaion versions and are cheaper.. is there something different about these? except the fact they are cheaper

What do you think about Traktor Scratch eduation version query ??

No
They are specially for students so if you want to buy them you have the be a student and students have also less money and if you now give a cheaper price for students a good chance is that they will also use it when they go in their professionel life and if a lot of students used a special kind of software for there education it's more likely that companies also will use that software this.

normally you have to show your student pass or teachers pass.

I've also noticed it around (I guess it was on a Belgian Apple Store site)
There is no difference between a normal version and an education version, except that that education version is cheaper but these reductions are only for students. At least if that's what you're talking about Happy, laughing
