When you insert a cd for the first time into a X1 it begins very slowly to read the wave data. It seems it doens't read ahead at all.? My cdj-1000 MK2 is 4x faster with first-time-cd wava data.

Is this a known issue?? Of ben ik gek? Thumbs Up

I think this is because the data of a cd is 650-700 MB and a DVD is 4.7 GB.

So from that point it's possible that the CDJ-1000 is 4x faster
Waarom lees je dit nu eigenlijk ?

Yes, the DVJ has to handle lots more information from the disc to calculate the Waveform. The DVJ is a much faster working piece of equipment than the CDJ (technologically) but it has to do lots of things at the same time.

It is usual that it takes longer than the CDJ because of the amount of data that has to be dealt with but it should be finished within a minute or so.
Let the BASS be louder

I'm talking about a regular cd-rom with wav data. Dus niet met dvd discs. This means if i play at club i have to bring my own sd cards? Normally i'm fine with the mk2 cause the read ahead........hmmm bummer....

The DVJ hasnt got a normal laser unit, it's especially for DVD's maybe that's the difference!
Pioneer is far ahead whit DVD's!
