I've worked with my mixer on an angel and when it was flat on the table. You just get used to the situation. It both has is advantages and disadvantages. When the mixer is in an angel you've a clear look over the mixer, with is nice, but I've also experienced that I couldn't work as fast with de faders as when the mixer was flat on the tabel (maby that's why you mostley doesn't see scratchters having a mixer in an angel?). What I found really interesting is that I found myself mixing smooth when my mixer was mounted in an angel in my flightcase and when it was out and flat on the tabel I used more cutting techniques. I was doing this without thinking about it at the moment. I'm not saying that this happens to other people, but it could be

. Just my experience.
Right now my mixer is flat on my table, because I've sold my case a while ago and I just think it works fine. I'm not missing that extra clearity or something. The only thing is that you always have to look down to see your mixer, which gets irritating when you're doing a long mixing session. But I guess I like my mixer flat best, just because it works faster for me.
