I have to be honest, I'm not surprise at all with the new mixer DJM-1000, I love Pioneer but this model simply doesn?t convince me.

Technically is good, very similar to the DJM-600 or 3000 but it construction (colours / shape) i don?t know...for me looks cheap and fragile.

What do you think?

does the Isolator works the same as the filtering of the frequency @ the dateq vibe? Can you filter whole frequenze bands?

lead can you help me out?

The Isolator works as an EQ on the master (ranging from infinite to +9dB), not as a filter. Meaning that the frequencies which you adjust are fixed, while filtering often uses a shelving (moving) frequencies.

Channel EQ Range

Bass

- ~ +6 dB (@ 13 kHz)

Mid

- ~ +6 dB (@ 1 kHz)

Treble

- ~ +6 dB (@ 70 Hz)

First post here guys, what a big piece of mixer! It reminds me of the Xone 464, except it lacks the aux outs and full mic strips. Same type of "slider" channel faders though, bit of a change from the 600, is there a reason for it? Also, as it is a "digital"mixer is there a spec on latency? I know the X9 had issues at first with the digital sweepable eq's.

The faders that are used are made by ALPS and are designed accoording Pioneer's specifications. The basic thoughs of the developers was to bring the best possible audio quality and combine this with endurability so these faders should be made to last a long time I guess Winking my eye

Latency is minimal, I've spend a lot of hours mixing on the DJM-1000 and it never bothered me.

2 Jorrit : Come and try it sometime Winking my eye
Let the BASS be louder
