I have to be honest, I'm not surprise at all with the new mixer DJM-1000, I love Pioneer but this model simply doesn?t convince me.

Technically is good, very similar to the DJM-600 or 3000 but it construction (colours / shape) i don?t know...for me looks cheap and fragile.

What do you think?

No WAY !!!!

This is a great mixer, build for endurance, rock solid feel, super crisp clear sound, digital inputs on each channel, fader and crossfader curves are adjustable, (rotary panel optional).

This is a mixer build to bring the best possible audio quality in the clubs. The mixer has a S/N ratio from 105dB ! This is incredibly high and there is currently NO other DJ mixer that reaches this level. Once you've heard the sound and feeled the 'Feel'
of this mixer you can make your plan...

I'm in love :D

And yes, when you've suspected it to be a new effect-mixer you might be a little bit dissapointed because there are NO effects on the DJM-1000. Only a very high sound quality, MIDI out on your crossfader and the EQ-kills on the master.

One word : GREAT !

Let the BASS be louder

The features are really good to me, so are the colours...
but: what i don't like is the shape of the faders ('kuipfaders')
The rest of the mixer is fine by me, accept for the price

Cheap and fraigile? It's clear you haven't played with it yet! This mixer gives you the feelig you realy got something under your vingers! Who cares about the design? It's all about the features....

By the way....I love the design

I like the design to, but I don't think that's important with a mixer that had features as this one has. The inside is what counts Winking my eye

Just to bad I haven't felt it yet...

I have played with the DJM-1000 but one thing you cannot say is that this mixer looks and feels cheap. Maybe you don't like the construction but cheap : NO

Don't get me wrong guys, I love the machine but what I was trying to say is that I was expecting... I don’t know something probably in the same line as the others?. Also I didn’t put in doubt it functionality and/or performance I was talking only about the design, plus come on.. Its Pioneer what else you can expect other than great sound quality ah?

This mixer "mixes" a bit of old school design with it aluminium master controls plate.

Anyways I just wanted to share my thoughts regarding the mixer

Peace! />

First post here guys, what a big piece of mixer!  It reminds me of the Xone 464, except it lacks the aux outs and full mic strips.  Same type of "slider" channel faders though, bit of a change from the 600, is there a reason for it?  Also, as it is a "digital"mixer is there a spec on latency?  I know the X9 had issues at first with the digital sweepable eq's.

does the Isolator works the same as the filtering of the frequency @ the dateq vibe? Can you filter whole frequenze bands?
