I need help figuring out how to take a recording of a mix and separate out the different tracks, but when I put it on a cd it still plays continuously with no breaks... but still has the option of skipping tracks. What do I do, and how?

What do you think about Editing Mix ??

You mean that you like to cut the tracks out of your recorded mix? You want to skip between your tracks in that mix instead of skippin the whole mix? You'll need a editing program like Adobe Audition or Cool Edit Pro 2.1, these programs are pritty good to cut and edit your mixWinking my eye. And if it's all separated in tracks you should burn it on CD with Nero and select the "No breaks between track button" than you wont hear any sillence when your CD is going for the next track but then you're then able to skip tracks instead of the whole mixWinking my eye. It's pritty easy work, you just select the track you want to be cut out and past in into a new page in your editing program. Than save it and than your done:D. Good luck!
