Software for Audio edition

Hi!

I would like to know what software you recommend for audio edition (not creation).

At the moment I'm using SoundForge and Adobe Audition, is any better out there for this purpuse?

I use Ableton GoLive for my audio editing. To edit a sound this programm is less good so for basic sample editing I use Steinbergs Wavelab.

all mixes I've put in the Download Section, I've made with both GoLive but I also used a program call AcidPro. But after some testing I found out that GoLive combines all features from these programs into 1...

CoolEdit comes to mind, though this is more suited towards sound engineers.

Cooledit nowadays is published by Adobe under the name : Audition 1.5

Looks and seems to work exactly like coolEdit...

Yes it's does, Adobe kept the same GUI.
