Dana van Dreven was born in Amsterdam and is a resident of this town since then. She started DJ-ing in 1993 and since then she has developed her own style. A style that can best be described as a crossover between different genres of hard dance music with a rough feminine touch.A couple of years ago, she started to mix Techno, Trance and Hardstyle with which she created a fusion of styles that is typical for her sound. Many artists would consider this the highest achievable goal in music, but for Dana it is just the kick off for a splendid international music and DJ Career.The challenge hereby lies in trying to translate my DJ-vision on music to 12”. Dana’s first record on her label Danamite, “Dana – Restyled’, was released in the beginning of 2004 and was very well received by the public, while her second release, “Dana – Back In Time”, has also stormed the charts.

Before the Parkzicht or Darkraver time he worked together with the late Peter Slaghuis (Hithouse Records / ARS) on the Mister Mixi & Skinny Scotty project where Steve did the vocals on their "I Can Handle It" hit.The Darkraver started as a swingbeat DJ in a local club in Scheveningen. Fortunatly he bumped into DJ rob and started to play in the legendary dutch club called Parkzicht. In the 90's hardcore ruled the scene and Darkraver's big break was at the Rave the City (1992). He came up behind the decks dressed up in a bat costume. Since then Darkrave had a passion for bats (especially Barcardi's bat;) )He played at letterly all hardcore locations dozen of times. Darkraver is know for his special hair cuts and bringing an inflatable foam hamer to pound on the beat.

Geboren in rotterdam.Sinds ik klein was wist ik al heel graag wat ik wilde.Ik ben sinds ik 10 jaar oud was begonnen op een piano.Een beetje deuntjes aan het maken.Het bleeft niet on opgemerkt, ik had altijd al een passie voor muziek.Ik begon met jumpstyle ik kocht een klein dj console van hercules en ging daarop oefenen.Vond het super leuk om te doen. maar ik bleef maar zeuren dat ik graag een echte dj set wilde hebben en er werd mij vertelt dat als je iets wilde moet je er voor sparen. En dat deed ik, later kocht ik mijn eerste dj set.Een denon setje. waar ik ok zeer trots op was ik had er zelf voor gewerkt ik was er erg blij mee. Tot dat ik opeens andere nummers ging luisteren en stuiterde ik op house toen dacht ik van wow dat is echt een toffe style. Sinsdien ben ik heel erg geintresseerd in house electro house en latin house.Daarna heb ik mijn setje weggedaan en ik kocht mijn aller eerste pioneers cdj800mk2. Daar was ik echt super trots op, ik heb daar een half jaar met plezier mee gedraaid. Maar eindelijk is het zo ver, ik werkte hard en ik had mijn zinnen gezet op een Pioneer DJM-800 en op de Pioneer CDJ-1000mk3's dat was mijn drooom setje en eindelijk heb ik ze nu allebij hier staan waar ik zo erg blij mee bent.Ik heb nog niet zo heel veel gedraaid, maar o.a @ Paradie overschie en AA Events Bureau.

It all began 1986. In that year I was living on Curacao. In that year was also the beginning of a new music period on the island. Hip-hop and house Music began to be popular on that moment and a lot of Deejays was into mixing. On the radio we had music programs such as Hot Mix Live who inspire my to go into mixing as well. Than a friend and I decided to buy a mixer and started to mix music with two tape decks with a pitchcontol. A few year later we started to buy records and with a few old turntables we started to play records. A few days later I learn to now DJ Ted Koetsier(RIP), Black Jack, Darwin Gregg and DJ Eric the Kidd. They where some of the popular DJ's at that moment on the islandAlso I was inspired by dj in holland such as Ben Liebrand, Peter Slaghuis(RIP) and Ferry Maat And than I played on a few Big Party's on the hottest places on the island at that time. In December 1990 I decided to immigrate to The Netherlands. Three months later I started to play in the Toevlught a little Youth Club in Maassluis. I played there for about 1, 5 year. Than I started to play in Disco Stairs at Maarssen more Clubs came to me to play for them I played in Future Maarsenbroek and in Fillini in Utrecht and some times inLocomotion Steenwijk.In 1995 I started to play in Disco Close up. In Vlaardingen and also I played a few times in Podium Gallery X better now as Maddox and The Music Factory in Vlaardingen. In 1997 I played in the NotreDame at Maassluis as resident and in that same year a started to work at Basic Beat record store. There I learn to now some popular DJ's like Ronald Molendijk (one of the owners that time) and Michel de Heij. Tiesto, Harry Lemon 8, Benny Rodrigues & Paul Hazeldonk was working there too that time. I played at Nightown and Parkzicht (Rotterdam).Also I played at Mystery world at Zaandam now known as North Sea Avenue nowadays. As a weekly resident clubber of iT on Friday Nights Madhouse he wanted something else in the scene and so he told his friends, guys see you in two months behind the wheels of stheel. I'm buying me a new set of Technics and when i'm back you see me over there right next to dj Jean. Yeah right!After two months he came back and played for the next 8 months the early hours at the iT. Only that one night he wasn't there the cops came in to find criminality and drugsabuse in the club and never again there was a Madhouse on Friday Night iT Amsterdam.After that he stopped, and it was until 2008 when things started feel like he was dropped of the boat he was travelling on to succes, so again he said to his friends, 2009 will be my year i'm buying me a set of Pioneers and 2009 will be my stage. On august first he had his first gig at Hard Classics on the Beach, will be at End of Summer Dance on the 6th of September en Touch Events after hearing his Double cdEMO told him your on the 27th of november at Touch Events third Christmasday, more is comming and 2009 is the next step to more!

Denz

Not yet in English.DJ Denz, die ter wereld kwam in 1991 in Zaandam, begon met zijn hobby in juni 2004. Hij merkte altijd al dat hij wat speciaals met muziek had, dus daar ging hij wat mee doen.Dennis luisterde vroeger altijd graag naar de Yorin FM hitmix die werd gemaakt door DJ Martin Pieters en DJ Synchro, dat inspireerde hem om ook muziek te gaan mixen. Hij zocht de juiste software, maar wat is nou de juiste software? Dennis experimenteerde met een simpel programma waar je muziek kon laden, onder elkaar plakken en de snelheid kon veranderen. November 2004 lanceerde hij zijn aller eerste mix Denzjam 1, die hij natuurlijk graag wou laten horen aan het publiek, maar dat bleef alleen binnen de vriendenkring. Aangezien het mix programma toch niet is wat Dennis wou, was het zoeken naar een nieuw programma, die hij vond rond eind 2004. Nog in datzelfde jaar lanceerde hij zijn Megamix 1 gemixt met het nieuwe programma. Het ging allemaal niet vlot, dus kreeg Dennis het idee om DJ Martin Pieters eens te gaan mailen. De Yorin FM hitmix kwam aan zijn einde, maar daarna ontstond er de Fresh FM hitmix. Eind 2005 besloot Denz om eens mee te doen met de Jaarmixen 2005. Er was al vooruitgang geboekt tegenover de Denzjam 1. Later volgde de Caz Weekend-mix en de SlamFM hitmix, die gemixt was door DJ Synchro. Eind 2006 maakte Dennis weer een jaarmix waarop hij goede reacties kreeg, dat hij besloot deze mix op de radio probeerde te krijgen. Met succes werd de mix uitgezonden op Zaanradio. In 2007 begonnen de mixen eindelijk een heel stuk beter te klinken als je ze gaat vergelijken met eerdere mixen. Nadat Dennis met DJ Synchro in contact is geraakt, die altijd de Slam!YAM op Slam!FM maakte, Besloot Dennis ook eens een Slam!YAM te maken, die netzo als de Jaarmix 2006 succesvol werd uitgezonden. In Januari 2007 lanceerde Dennis Denzjam 3, die tot zijn eigen zeggen toch wel erg leuk gemixt was. De mix bevat 28 platen in 10 minuten. 2007 was ook het jaar dat Dennis wel eens wat meer met live mixen wilde doen, zo begon hij met z'n SkyTec 250, die hij al lang voordat hij was begonnen met mixen had aangeschaft, en z'n toen nieuw gekochte Behringer BCD2000 wat te experimenteren. Eind 2007 maakte Dennis uiteraard weer een Jaarmix, die hij op zijn website publiceerde. Hij kreeg diverse reacties, waaronder een van een presentator van Jofox Radio, die meldde dat hij hem zou draaien op de stream. Zo kwam Dennis in begin 2008 in aanraking met een eigen programma op Jofox Radio genaamd Jofox In The Mix. Ook heeft Dennis zo nu en dan een mixje van 15 minuten voor in het programma 'De Wip Show' op Jofox Radio.Intussen heeft Dennis een professionele DJ set staan bestaand uit 2x Pioneer CDJ400 en een Pioneer DJM600 mixer.

Devotion

Op 15 juli 1975 werd DJ Devotion (Manuel de Bruin) geboren in Geldrop, in de buurt van Eindhoven. Tijdens zijn jeugd was hij constant bezig met muziek en nam hij de Top 40 op met zijn radio/cassettedeck om vervolgens met het nodige knip- en plakwerk provisorische remixen te maken. Terwijl al zijn leeftijdsgenoten Grunge beluisterden, was hij erg tegendraads en experimenteerde hij met Swingbeat en House. Uiteindelijk blijkt dat een goede keuze, want na wat voorzichtige DJ-avonden in het plaatselijke jeugdhonk werd hij gevraagd om te draaien in discotheken in Eindhoven. Zijn smaak had hij inmiddels verruimd met wat snufjes disco en al snel wist hij het Eindhovense te verruilen voor de Amsterdamse feestkroegen.Tegenwoordig is DJ Devotion in Emmeloord (The Bottom), Amsterdam (Prik) en Hilversum (Rendez Vous)  te vinden als resident DJ en werkt hij ook voor diverse opdrachtgevers. Zijn repertoire is enorm breed en hij staat er om bekend dat hij van iedere avond een compleet feest maakt. It all started at the age of 8, when my parents gave me my first mixer.A mixer without any options, just faders. And 2 easy hifi-cd-players.At the age of 15 i decided to participate to a dj contest at a local bar.It was the first experience with prof. cd players, but I got used to it and took away the 2nd place :DThe price was a resident spot. Shortly after that a dj-spot came available at the other bar of the owner. So there is was, a 16 year old brat in a bar for 18+. That is the place where I learned the most about music, and thwe taste of the older folks. These days I have my own little entertainment business, and reach to a +/- 120 bookings in a year. Don Alexandro

Don Alexandro oftewel Donny Bounid is geboren op 19 januari 1990 in Den Haag. Vanaf zijn 10e jaar begon hij zich te verdiepen in muziek. Van zang- tot pianoles , hij heeft van alles geprobeerd. Na een kennismaking met drummer ( nu ook DJ ) Jamie Westland in 2004 wist hij wat hij zou gaan bespelen , drums. Na een aantal jaar te hebben gedrumt bij drumschool 'Cleuver' is hij daar ook mee gestopt. 'Ik leerde niets nieuws meer' zei hij. Een jaar later , 2008 , besefte hij dat hij weer iets in de muziek moest gaan doen , maar wat? Een vriend van hem schafte een DJ set aan en leerde het vak van plaza resident 'Donnie Rosalez'. Door het meekijken van de lessen die Rosalez gaf leerde hij het een klein beetje. 'Mag ik ook een keertje?' vroeg hij aan en vanaf de eerste keer dat hij een draaitafel aanraakte ging alles eigenlijk heel soepel. Draaien in clubs , dat is wat ik wil dacht hij. Na 2 weken schafte hij zelf een set aan en een aantal weken later had hij zijn eerste boeking al binnen. 'Ik wil meer dan draaien alleen, muziek maken dat wil ik!'. Een vriend van hem leerde hem het 'vak' produceren ( het zelf maken van nummers ). Aangezien hij al ervaring had met drumles gingen de beats allemaal heel gemakkelijk. 'Het moeilijkste is de finishing touch , ik ben en blijf een perfectionist'. In Januari 2009 startte hij zijn eigen organisatie onder de naam Alexandro Events. Aangezien hij in November 2008 met een aantal vrienden het feest 'HOUSECODE' organiseerde ( met succes ) besefte hij dat hij dit vaker wou , groter en spectaculairder. Inmiddels is hij onder Alexandro Events erg actief met feesten zoals o.a. HOUSEK!LLERS.

Een 2tal jaar radio gemaakt via internet(zowat elke woensdag avond), sinds kort nieuwe stream dus binnekort weer "Dr Mando & Mr B Live".
