Club Carrerra in Rotterdam was the first club Lucien ever played at in 1994, from djing in his hometown to a diary full of dates all around the world. Lucien took Holland by storm when he released 'QUADROPHONIA' back in 1989. This was a worldwide hit and sent Lucien around the world promoting it to all four corners of the globe.
Later on Lucien became well known for his Dutch Liquid productions (with Ron Matser), which were favoured by the likes of Carl Cox, whereas his more techhouse/progressive productions were released under the name Funk Function.
