Hi, the name\s John, but people like to call me Taylor. I've been playing around with software for a little while now, and just got my first MIDI controller about 2 weeks ago. I chose the name gh0st as my DJing name because I always set it as my hostname in Linux installations.

What triggered me to start making music and mixing was seeing all the hardcore DJs on Masters Of Hardcore DVDs and listening to livesets. I really liked the energy there was behind it all; you don't really find that in most music! I started playing around with FL Studio a while back, and from there, I evolved to making short, crappy little mixes that don't deserve to be up here.

The only landmark I've reached so far was getting my first piece of equipment, a Hercules DJ Console Mk4. I've been playing with that for the past couple weeks, and hope to someday obtain some Pioneer stuff (I'm a Pioneer fanboy!).
