Well let me see, you all want a story of my life. Well... ok here it is. Vk5 (Joris van Kappen) born in Haarlem (beautiful city). At the age of 2 I moved to Tiel a small town between Arnhem and Utrecht. When I was 6 years old, I found my passion for music. I started playing with some cd-players (not so professional as you think) When I was like 9 years old I started to play the piano. That was very interesting but it wasn't the thing I searched for. I wanted the electronical sounds. So after a few years I bought some turntables and started spinning vinyls. Finally I found my passion. A new DJ was born. After a half year he had his first residency at Grand Theft Techno. It was perfect for me, playing with talents as Wouter de Moor, Folker Zwart, Neal Evans etc. Summer 2006, I got the chance to play at the biggest hockeytournaments of Holland. It was great. Playing with soldiers as Gregor Salto, Jochen Miller etc. After the summer of 2006 I started to create my own style, it was a mix of minimal, funky, tech-house. And now things are going very fast. At this point I started producing my sounds and spinning my sets at some nice party's around the globe. So that's it. If there's more news I'll let you know!
