Product Information
Today Pioneer DJ announces the Opus Quad, a new 4 channel All-in-One which is added to our line-up (it is not replacing any current model).
The Opus quad is a deck with its own identity in a new unique design, multiple displays and full-sized jogs.
2 Channels of the Opus Quad can be used solely for playing music from USB, the other 2 channels can do this aswell and the latter 2 channels can be switched to Bluetooth, Line or Phono inputs. Other than the 10.1”multitouch main screen, each deck also has its own color LCD display that shows the track info of that deck. The main screen is the place where you will find the controls for things where you might suspect hardware buttons like: Channel input select, assign channel for the BPM effects, Touch Preview when browsing and X-Pad BPM FX control.
Update your Rekordbox to the latest version. One thing to take into account is that the Opus Quad uses a different database system which makes it so that you need to prepare your devices for use on an Opus Quad. To create a device that works on both the Opus as the current products you need to set a checkbox in Rekordbox on your computer (Preferences > DJ-System > Device-Tab > Make sure the first checkbox is set (Device Library Plus’, the second checkbox should be turned on by default (for the other products). You can export your devices again to get all new data on there. You can also use Rekordbox to convert your existing devices (reformatting is recommended).
