The DJM-V10 is a new breed of mixer, built to enable the most creative DJs to craft original soundscapes. This 6-channel unit produces warm audio with energy and presence, and it’s loaded with unique features.

The DJM-V10-LF is the long fader version of this mixer that has longer faders (60mm compared to 45mm), in order for the faders to fit into the mixer the Crossfader is removed. all other features and specification are identical to the main model.

Compressor

The compressor is designed to make it possible for DJs to mix in tracks that are recorded from vinyl into a set with more modern tracks. Proper vinyl mastering has less dynamic range that modern tracks so they might sound less hard.

The Comp rotary works in tendem with the Trim knob, the Treshold is set with the Trim knob, the Ratio is determined by the position of the Comp knob.

Trim at 12 o'clock sets the Treshold at -9dB.
Comp at 12 o'clock : the ratio is set at 1:∞
Comp lower than 12 o'clock : the ratio changes from 1:1 to 1:∞
Comp higher than 12 o'clock : ratio locked at 1:∞, release time decreases
