The Pioneer EFX-500 is Pioneers first effector and was the first ever to offer tempo synchronised effects and manual Filter Effects.
Successor : Pioneer EFX-1000
The Pioneer EFX-500-SW is a very limited release of only 200 units worldwide in October 2000. SW stands for Snow White, which indicates it's milky white semi translucent body.
The original Pioneer EFX-500 is silver and later also the Pioneer EFX-500-R would be released. All model have identical specifications and no different functions.
The EFX-500 has 3 sections : The Top row is for the EQ Isolators, the lower section is devide in 2 part. On the left are the BPM synced effects, on the right are the manual Filter Effects. Each section can be toggled on and off by switches that you can 'flash' or toggle on/off.
