The Pioneer CDJ-500II builds forward on the Pioneer CDJ-500 and improves a lot of it's functionality and also new Loop features are added.
The biggest difference between the CDJ-500 and the MK2 is in the loop section. The CDJ-500II is was the first CDJ to have the loop functionality that would become the standard for all future decks. It was already possible to make a loop of a section of a CD for 7 minutes on the CDJ-500, this has been increase to 14 minutes of maximum loop length.
CDJ-500II introduces the Loop In button, Realtime Loop In, Loop Out Adjust and the Reloop/Exit button.
Cue Sampler plays the track from the Cue point when pressing and holding the Cue Button for maximum 10 minutes (10 seconds on CDJ-500).
