The Pioneer EFX-500 is Pioneers first effector and was the first ever to offer tempo synchronised effects and manual Filter Effects.

Successor : Pioneer EFX-1000

This silver colored version is the original model, in 2000 a very limited number of Pioneer EFX-500-SW was produced. Later also the Pioneer EFX-500-R would be released  All model have identical specifications and no different functions.

The EFX-500 has 3 sections : The Top row is for the EQ Isolators, the lower section is devide in 2 part. On the left are the BPM synced effects, on the right are the manual Filter Effects. Each section can be toggled on and off by switches that you can 'flash' or toggle on/off.
