Just curious as to how you have setup your mixer. Is there a 'standard' to be used?

My current setup is : CDJ - Mixer(4 channel)?- CDJ, both the CDJ's are on the both most outer channels, meaning 1 and 4.

So, what is your mixer-channel setup?

Channel 1 Line: CD1 / BPM-Studio1
Channel 1 Phone: -
Channel 2 Line: CD2 / BPM-Studio2
Channel 2 Phone: TT

Channels can only switch between Line/Phone so to use CD or BPM-Studio I have to switch cables by hand.

This situation sucked ofcourse so I got myself a new mixer and changed it a little bit.

DJM-800:

Channel 1 Line: CD1
Channel 1 Line: BPM-Studio 3

Channel 2 Line: BPM-Studio 1
Channel 2 Phone:

Channel 3 Line: BPM-Studio 2
Channel 3 Phone:

Channel 4 Line: CD 2
Channel 4 Phone: TT

Plan is to connect the CD's with digital cables, but still need to get the proper cables. Maybe i'm going to abuse the Return connectors for connecting the 4th BPM-Studio signal.
I think that Pioneer made a mistake for the DJM-800 by putting the Line/Digital switch on the back and not giving you for all channels the possibility to switch between Digital/Line/Phone or Digital/Line/Line like they did with the DJM 1000.
