So what do we all use? And what do we recommend? Im currently using a pair of Pioneer HDJ-1000s and am loving them. The bass can sound a little muggy at times but otherwise great headphones. I was looking at the Allen & Heath Xone XD-53. Does anyone have any experience with them?

And with which headphone did you compare the HP1000, to get you to this conclusion?

And indeed there are enough topics about HP's so use the search button, only make topics when you cant find anything or you question is still unanswered.

the dn-hp1000 have the biggest driver at all speaking about dj's headphones...I've tried the hdj1000 rpdh1200 && hd53... when the volume in pfl is up sometimes the basskick cuts the sound from the other frequencies...with the denon this doesn't happen...even at high volume levels...

I have A&H XD-53 and they are very good headphones. The quality is about a Pioneer HDJ1000
