Go to a store (perhaps a guitar centre) and test the machine out. I don't like it because of scratch quality, reaction between platter and engine doesn't work 100%, loading time of a cd is slow, Hot-Cue's take ages to load...
Anyway, that's my opinion, check :
This Download. It's a comparison movie clip that's been wondering around the net for some time... It might reflect the general opinion about the SLDZ.
On the other hand, I also know people that love it..... go out there and test them in a store might be your best option.
