After sorting all picture I've put the most interresting ones online in the Gallery Plaza 2004 Album
I've visited this exhabition for 2 days and I think this is the minimum time needed if you want to really check everything. After checking many brands on this exhabition I've seen not so much exhiting stuff other than Pioneer's DVJ-X1. Most equipment shown on this exhabition (also the DVJ) was allready shown at Frankfurt.
Here's a short summary, it's based on my own experience. Perhaps I've overseen some things... please post your ow additions Pioneer
Showed up big time with the DVJ-X1, There were 3 DVJ's setup to test yourself. Also lots of CDJ we're hooked up to play around with. Basicly all other ProDJ gear was testable also. The Main DJ booth was giving almost constant live demonstrations of DJ/VJ's on a dream-DJ-booth.
Technics
2 setups SL-DZ1200's and a SL1200 setup to play around with. I had hope for new firmware on the SLDZ's so that they might sound better, but I've spotted no difference with any player I've felt before Also the 4 channel SH-MZ1200 mixer was present.
Numark
Lots of test-setting here too. The DVD01 was there with the AVM01 video mixer.
Denon
Nice booth with enough test setups. I've found the DN-S1000 here which I haven't seen or touched earlier. It feels very plastic and the jog need quit a bit of force before it reacts when you want to scratch or alter a parameter of the effects. When you've got RVRS and BREAK on and then press pause it just stops.... perhaps a firmware issue.... Nice demonstrations from DJ Shy on the DN-S5000's during the day though, he know's his way around on those decks
Most other brands didn't show something very interresting to me. One other thing is that there is probably a new OEM CD deck on the market. I found the same model CD player in at least 3 different boxes (Reloop, American Audio, Stanton and maybe more...)
Find the differences :
DJ Shy says hi :D
