I just noticed while I was updating articles to modern layout that I've never started a forum topic about my Ultimate CDJ Comparison chart, I've written the first part of this Article back in 2004. Around 2010 I've added a second part to this article as Pioneer kept on launching new decks.

And now in 2022 I've again added a new chart on top if that page showing a lot of the differences between the most modern models : CDJ-2000, CDJ-2000nexus, CDJ-2000NXS2 and the new CDJ-3000.

The Ultimate CDJ Comparison Chart

It was hard to create that last chart as there are also a lot of little differences and some that are very hard to put in a compact listing. I hope that the article at least clears some fog for somebodies eyes

If you miss some things or you want me to add some more things, let me know and I can add it easily if it fits

Jeetje, de CDJ-1000 alweer zo oud, ik begin me ineens een stuk ouder te voelen.

Waarom lees je dit nu eigenlijk ?

Nice overview Lead, brings back memories. My favourite CDJ ever made is the CDJ-900. All of the CJD'js after that spoiled the djing a bit for me. I love how little info the 900 players give you

Sometimes less is more MidiJ. There is currently so much features on players that it influences your way of DJing.

CDJ-900 was pretty basic but it offered most things you would need.

But to be honest I am happy I can now brinag a USB instead of the CD wallets (hehe, or the record cases)

That is a nice bit of information and nostalgic to see those old players again.... I should browse the new Blog a bit more I think
