You can't really compare these two. The Denon DN-S1000 is a mini, compact cd turntable, while the Pioneer CDJ-200 is just a DJ cd-player. This means you can do more on the DN-S1000, including scratching. But the CDJ-200 is not mini and compact, meaning that it's nicer to work with if you are of adult size.
[/blockquote]
Emre90 wants to say: "if you're giving a party with club/house/techno/... you have to chose the cdj-200, but if you want to scratch then take the Denon.
I don't want to say that Denon is that bad, they are both very good cd-players but they have both their own characteristics."
My personal opinion: I've worked already with both of them, but the jog from the Denon isn't that good. And the scratch-function isn't perfect. The Denon has a lot of features, but which one will you use? I prefer the cdj-200.
Why always just Pioneer or Denon? I am starting DJ-ing. I Think that I will be beatmixing most of the time. With maybe some effects (maybe on the mixer). thinking of Vestax (two CDX-05 and the PVC-275 mixer). What do you think. I have a budget of round about 1.000 Euro.
