The iPod dock might just be an adapter you plug into a USB port on the back. I guess you can take it off.
PatrickBeuken    posted on 31-03-2006 22:01

Offcourse you can take the adapter off... Happy, laughing

Keep it in English please..

I think these new products of Numark are nice, but not for on-the-road use.

I think this is something for the Bedroom DJ beginners or something..

dancedimension    posted on 01-04-2006 10:25
yes, I think also that's is not for on-the-road use, I think it's nice for your bedroom. But I don't think this is made for beginners, but semi-pro or higher.

Lot's of people will have the possibilitie to start with these type of equipment. Price/quality is in good relationship with eachother at Numarks. You don't pay the highest price and yoou gast quality in fair relation t the price you pay.

yes that's true, buth i don't think numark is smart, they just launched the hdx who is in stores for a view weekes and now they launch a new cd player so the hdx is
all reway "old "
SonicWalker    posted on 01-04-2006 13:13
The HDX was introduced in September 2005 at the Plasa Show in London and will finally start shipping soon. The new devices are also not replacing or directly competing with the HDX. The HDX is the big brother of the CDX and because of the form factor and spinning platter, both a interesting for a certain target group in the DJ market.

hmm.. Thats a nice piece op Equipment..

You wil allways have all your Songs with you..

60 GB apple Ipod..

there yah go

Camino    posted on 01-04-2006 14:07
what it seems most interesting for is for drive-in... i always get loads of request people ask to play from their ipod's: this would be a great solution, although slightly more expensive than a 2 euro minijack-tulip plug :P

Just hold your breath a long while before most of them will hit the stores. On the Messe most gear we're pre-samples or empty boxes. Numark has the habit to announche products years in advance Winking my eye

But nice to see them going al vidoe and USB. In the future you might just bring a external HDD to the gig and play from that :D

Why are you judging before even knowing what it is?

That player, is the future. First there was vinyl, now there is cd, in the future i guess dj's will (wan't to have the possibility) to play with MP3 sticks's, MP3 storgage systems and harddiscs...

I'm just back from the Prolight + Sound and you can use external harddisks, usb-sticks, offcourse the Ipod and last but not least you can even control your computer with DJ software.

Zeer leuke foto's!
the-melody    posted on 02-04-2006 18:43

PatrickBeuken    posted on 02-04-2006 19:11
