XML to M3U Converter

   

This is a tool that seemed to be needed by Chuckie for him to get his rekordbox playlists back into iTunes. After searching the internet I did not find any script that was capable of this job.

But fortunatly, W.i.M makes stuff in VB script so it was an easy fix for him to write this little converter. It still is version 1.0 so we're open to suggestion how we could improve this tool. There are surely features that can be added, these will show up in a new version.

This is a converter tool to convert the XML Playlists export file from Rekordbox to M3U playlist files. This makes it possible to import the playlists you've made in Rekordbox into iTunes. The files in the playlist NEED TO BE in iTunes, this tool will only work if your Rekordbox collection contains tracks that are also present in iTunes.

Only playlist files are created with this tool, there is nothing done to either the Rekordbox Collection or the iTunes library.

This converter is written/programmed by W.i.M for DJResource.eu and only runs on PC. But offcourse it can be used for a Rekordbox export on PC and Mac.

How does it Work?

1. In Rekordbox, export your Playlist Information (this creates an .XML file)
2. Run this converter
3. Convert from : select the .XML file
4. Convert to : select an output folder (a folder for the playlist will be created here)
   If left empty the folder will be created on the location of the executable
5. Create folders : this create the same folder structure as in Rekordbox
6. Press Convert

Mooi, als iemand het lukt op een Mac dan hoor ik het graag. Ik heb er in itunes ook een zooitje van gemaakt

Iemand met een PC kan het ook voor je doen

this crashes half way through on me

Help and copyright form has no close button, maybe usefulle to enable it

Every time I want to convert the XML file, I get the following field message.

This tool was made a long long time ago for rekordbox version 3. It will not work for newer versions of rekordbox. 

We cannot offer any support on this tool anymore.
