Hi all! I want to ask to all Xone (1D, 2D, 3D & 4D) users (Or any one who had used them), how do you like them? Hows the feel, quality and sound, was there any bugs etc, and what do you think of the new DX? I had touch the Xone 92, witch is a really nice and great sounding mixer, but i dont know how's the MIDI controllers!
Id like to get the DX! I like the all in one offer and i heard that Allen & Heath is a well trusted brand!Smile

What do you think about A&H Xone : DX ??

Hello, first a thing my English isn't good but i try and we have a ABC buttonHappy, laughing

I have a Xone 1D, i't a amazing controller!
The feel?s, how it work?s and the build quality!
I?m using my 1D withe Traktor Scratch pro and mapping is easy but that?s more for a Traktor Topic.
The faders are smooth, but if you gonna give your controller a kick the doesn?t moveHappy, laughing!
But i have the idea that the DX a norther controller is withe different things...
And you cant compare those things, the best way to discover is to test it!
I hope my English is good, And s6!

I have ordered my DX a few weeks ago. Aswell as you I trust A&H who are one of the leaders in this market. The 4D was beautifull so I expect the DX will be the same quality.

@ feestbeest Thanks for trying in English! I sure got your idea!
It sure is a different thing, but it still have the A&H built quality, 4D's sound card and it even looks like small 4D/3D! So the feel (of faders, jogs etc) i presume is the same!?
I never had tested any ITCH controller before, but i heard a lot of good things about ITCH! But if im right, you still can use the DX with Traktor or any other software!

Itch is a good piece of software altough I still prefer Traktor. You can use the DX with those two and more so there is enough to choose from Smile

Yeah but of course the difference with a 3D/4D is the fact that this is just a controller, whereas the 3/4D can also be used as a normal mixer for your decks or CD players...

@Mixt-Ape it is possible to use the DX as a mixer for decks altough you can't use it without software.

yep.... you can use decks just with ITCH! So its not quite analog mixer! Yeaa, but Traktor has 2 decks! I wonder what Traktor software version comes with american audio velocity controller? I heard it has 4 decks!

Traktor has an A, B, C and D (so 4) decks but these are not available in Traktor LE in Scratch Pro they are.
