Processor for TRaktor Scratch Pro

OKay, I bought the whole system (incl. Audio8) and its on my desktop now.

but now I need a Laptop. I saw a great one (Acer 3810T-353, with Intel Core 2 Solo Processor ULV SU3500, 1.40 GHz, 3Mb L2 Cache, 800 Mhz FSB). But it will be on the edge in the capacity for TRaktor.

So, I just went to the shop to buy the Acer 3810T-944 with a Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile SU9400, 1,4GHz, 3Mb L2 Cache, 800Mhz FSB. But now the guy in the shop adviced me not to buy it!!!!

I want a laptop for work and play. So for work it has to be lightweight, with a long batterylife and min. 13,3 Inch screen (office, skype, firefox) and for play (TRaktor Scratch Pro) it has to be at least PentiumIV 1,6 Ghz.

I don't get why the Acer isn't sufficient enough and where do I have to search to get an answer to the question what laptop to buy the best with a budget of 700-800 Euro. . . . . . (and which includes above spec's). ANYONE??
