And I like the Pioneer Way! Denon has already copied this feature, but in my opinion without succes: when you bend very much (fast turns) and then stop bending, the player bends a little bit more (slowly going to normal speed). This is not very handy, because you have to bend a bit less than you normally would.
Shoot me if i'm wrong (it's my experience with the DN-D4000 en DN-D6000 only).

Or they just did not think about it like Denon did... On turntables you can not play the record in reversed mode either, so if it isn't there it doesn't mean it isn't necessary. Besides that "useful" is a better word than "necessary" in this case.
