Ref, mp3 search function...

I don't really use the mp3 feature on this player, as i prefer to use high quality audio sources from cd's...

I've also got the CDN-88 from Numark, of which i'm very happy with...

The PPD9000 is a fantastic bit of kit, and the quality of build and use is very very good.

Thanks

Glenski

Good for you that you don't use the mp3-function.

I've also got the cdn-88, but its broke.

But now we are speaking: do you know how to switch to a different scratch-mode? I believe there are 4, but i can only find the first..
And how does that bleep thing work? It doesn't bleep when its in that mode, just reverses..

Ref: Bleep and scratch modes...

The bleep feature is not what you would expect as a 'bleep' sound, but in fact it's just the opposite... all it does is play the track in reverse (backwards) just like the cdn-88 player...

To change the scratch modes you need to hold down the program button, whilst pressing the sratch button, this will then scroll through the four types of scratch mode...

Hope that helps

Thank you! Can't try it yet (cd-player is not here), but i think i understand.
I suspect there is a differents between 'bleep' and  'reverse' then, but i will find out myself i think.

I only use original cd's, and not vinyl (anymore)

Thanks
