DJResource Terms of Use

Definitions:
DJResource: This website and it's Administration.
Services: The Modules and content on DJResource.
User: Visitors without an account. By using the Services the User agrees with this Terms of Use.
Account : Membership to the services on DJResource by requesting a Login and activation code. The account is linked to s Userid and chosen nickname.
Member : A user of the Services with an activated account. Membership is open for everyone that hasn't been warned or banned in the past.
Terms of Use : These pages.
Moderator : Member with special rights to moderate the forums to make sure all postings are in line with the Terms of Use. If you think a wrong decision is made you can contact the administration.
Admin : Team formed by the founders of DJResource.
General
2.1 Use of this website, and information distributed in conjunction with this website is offered to you on your acceptance of these Terms of Use.
2.2 Your use of this website or of any content presented in any and all areas of the website indicates your acknowledgment and agreement to these Terms of Use.
2.3 DJResource has the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, add or remove any terms or conditions of these Terms of Use. A notification will be made in our forums about it. You agree to review these Terms of Use from time to time and agree that any subsequent use by you of this website following changes to these Terms of Use shall constitute your acceptance of all such changes.
Services
3.1 DJResource will provide the Services as long as a Member acts according to the Terms of Use.
3.2 If new Services will be made available in the future they will also be directed according to this Terms of Use.
3.3 DJResource can change the properties of the Services at any time as they please.
3.4 DJResource reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, disable access to or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part or all of this website or any information contained thereon without liability or notice.
3.5 DJResource has the right to deny a User or Member access to any part of the site at any time.
3.6 DJResource has the right to change any layout and/or content posted anywhere on DJResource.
Users and Members
4.1 The User agrees that any subsequent use of this website follows the Terms of Use.
4.2 Any material, information, or other communication you transmit or post to this web site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary and will become the property of DJResource. DJResource will have no obligations with respect to these submissions. By submitting this information, you are relinquishing any claims or rights to this information. DJResource and its designees will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use the submitted data, text, images, sounds, and other things embodied therein for non-commercial purposes. If DJResource chooses to use these submissions for its own use, you may pad yourselves on the back.
4.3 The Member is responsible for the security of the login information of his account.
4.4 By using the Services the Member or User will avoid making postings and/or additions on the interactive sections of DJResource that include:
4.4.1 The User will not post :
» Consulting language
» racistical language and/or links to it
» pornographic material and/or links to it
» violate the intellectual property rights of third parties
4.4.2 The User will not make :
» postings designed to or that interfere or interrupt this web site or any service provided, or are meant to do so to any other Member or User of DJResource.
» received personal message(s) public
» postings with unlawful, illegal (ie. hacks, warez or simlock) information and/or links to it
4.4.3 The User will not :
» use the Services for any commercial purposes without permission from DJResource
» post messages with no added value (ie. one liners and smiles only)
» post links to webshops or websites that contain one without consulting DJResource first
» Submit copyrighted content
» use another language than English or Dutch
» use extensive CaPiTaLS, smiles and or other of the options offered on DJResource
4.5 The Member agrees to receive important messages, e-mails and/or newsletters from DJResource, this option can be turned off in the Users Profile.
4.6 The User and Members are aware that the services are provided 'as-is'. DJResource can not be held responsible if the information is negatively influenced or temporarily unavailable due to technical disturbances or any other causes.
4.7 A Member Account can be disabled. All personal information will be removed from this account. Posted messages can not be removed because they are an coherent part of the discussions.
4.8 On DJResource it is NOT permitted to place links or refers to websites that contain a webshop without permission from DJResource, contact DJResource.
Consequences
5.1 DJResource reserves the right to remove or edit all posted content in their sole discretion if it's in violation with the Terms of Use.
5.2 If the user does not observe point 4.4.1, the following measures are taken by DJResource:
» Insulting language -> Warning
» Racistical language -> Ban for 1 week
» Pornographic material -> Ban for 1 month
» Violate intellectual property -> Ban for 1 week
5.2 If the user does not observe point 4.4.2 -> Ban for 1 week
5.3 If the user does not observe point 4.4.3 -> Warning
5.4 If the user does not observe point 4.4.8 -> Warning
5.5 Warnings will be registered, the following applies:
» 3rd warning -> Ban for 1 week (same as 5.2).
» the next time a Member has 3 warnings -> Ban for extended period, which will be decided DJResource.
Liability and Privacy
6.1 The Member is responsible for the content of the messages that are done with his nickname. DJResource can never be held responsible for any (part of the) content post by a Member.
6.2 The User or Member accepts that DJResource records information of a visit for optimising the Services.
6.3 DJResource will not use the submitted information for any other purpose than optimalization the the website.
6.4 Personal information will never be made available for third parties.
6.5 A copy of the recorded information can be obtained by request. An administration fee will be charged for this service.
6.6 DJResource does not warrant that the functions contained in the materials will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that this website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. DJResource does not warrant or make the representations regarding the use or he result of the use of the materials in this website in the terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. You (and not DJResource) assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction.
6.7 DJResource is not responsible for any damage that could occur if you handle according to information you've obtained on this website.
6.8 It's strongly prohibited to send another member (un requested) e-mails, if the content of the mail is in violation with this website's Terms of Use or is not in relation to the topic that was made by this User. This also include ALL commercial.
6.9 We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web site. These companies may use information (not including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. For purposes of these terms, the use of any such material on any other Web site or networked computer environment is prohibited. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to DJResource.
7.2 Use of any of the information on DJResource without clear notification directly under it via a weblink to the exact page (URL) where this information is taken from or to http://www.djresource, is strictly prohibit.
7.3 It's not permitted to remove the watermarks in the images or to make them unreadable.
