Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 Firmware upgrade and How to Install it

From 20th of august 2006 there will be a firmware update for the Pioneer CDJ-1000mk3. This upgrade only needs to be performed if your CDJ has firmware with versions: 1.20, 1.40 and 1.50.

Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 Firmware Check

This new firmware improves BPM measurement and speeds up the measuring process.

You can check the firmware version of your CDJ-1000MK3 by first turning the unit on and remove the CD from the drive with EJECT.

Then keep the Reloop/Exit button pressed for about 10 seconds. In the main display the current firmware version will be shown.

The key improvement that of this upgrade is that the BPM measuring is faster and more precise.

You can get get the upgrade on CD rom from your authorised Pioneer dealer after 20 august. After this date you can also download the firmware from the Pioneer download website.

Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 upgrade procedure

Remove any SD/MMC card and CD.
Turn the CDJ-1000MK3 OFF
Hold Rec Mode and Reloop/Exit while turning it on. Hold both untill you see 'No Disc' in the display
Insert the Upgrade CD with firmware V2.0
The CDJ will load the firmware. DO NOT TURN OFF while loading, this might damage the CDJ perminently.
The upgrade is done when 'COMPLETE' is indicated in the display.
Remove the upgrade disc and turn the power off.

Stom zeg, dat ik dat er niet in gezet heb... zal het even toevoegen....

De update verbeterd en versneld voornamelijk de BPM display.

Bij deze laten ze zien hoe easy het is om een update uit te brengen en hoe snel dat na de release van het apparaat kan. Ik wacht nog altijd op een firmware update voor de CDJ200 met volledige mp3 mogelijkheid.
